Adoptable Alexandria Pet: Mu The Cool Cat
Adoption fees are already covered for Mu, a cool cat that's always by your side.

Are you ready to bring home a new furry friend? Start your search at Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which shelters pets in need and finds new homes for them.
This week the featured adoptable pet is Mu, a curious and playful cat that will stay by your side—at least after he's had his food. Better yet, there are no adoption fees thanks to a generous donation.
Here's a description of Mu from AWLA:

Mu is one well-rounded, super cool cat! A typical day with Mu will begin with his breakfast of course. Mu loves his breakfast! Following breakfast Mu will happily follow you around helping you with your daily chores. Don’t mind him! He just wants to be where the action is with his hoomins. Mu knows the importance of staying fit, so after that he can often be found chasing his favorite ping pong balls around the house, or snuggling his various catnip toys. If you have time, he’d also love to pay with the feather wand. (Mu fancies himself a black panther and has the hunting skills to show it!) In the evenings, Mu can often be found hanging out near his favorite people. He’s not a lap cat per se, but will sit near you and happily purr while you scratch his head and rub his ears. Mu says there’s nothing better than that, except for maybe dinner. Clearly, Mu is the best, but there are two things you should know. First, Mu is front-paw declawed. Second, Mu is diabetic so he is on a special diet, but he does not require insulin (yay!). But Mu says that doesn’t bother him at all! So if you want a tiny black panther in your life come and meet Mu today!
