Adoptable Alexandria Pet: Mya The Independent Girl
Mya's foster family describes her as "spunky" and "talkative," and she even comes with her own swag bag of goodies.
Looking to adopt a new furry friend? Consider looking at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which provides shelter and finds homes for pets in need.
One of these pets is Mya, a spunky girl that loves doing her own thing. She'd do better in a home without other pets and comes with a swag bag full of things you'll need.
Here's a description of Mya from AWLA:

Mya - Domestic Short Hair, Brown Tabby, Spayed female, Adult
Looking for an independent cat to love? Meet Mya! She is very sweet and affectionate, but gets very stressed in the presence of dogs and other cats. Mya would do great in a home where she can just be Mya. She was recently in a foster home to get some time away from the shelter and her foster family had a fantastic time getting to know her! They described her as fun, spunky, adorable, and talkative! Mya is an early riser, so if you're also a morning person wanting a friend to discuss the news and sip coffee with as the sun rises, Mya might be the cat for you!
*Mya is a VIP (Very Important Purr)! Her adoption includes her own swag bag with a litter box, litter, food, bowls, beds, toys, and everything you will need to keep our favorite diva happy!*
Please call 703-746-4774 or email adoptions@alexandriaanimals.org for more information and come visit me at the shelter today!
