Adoptable Alexandria Pet: Smart And Energetic Caspian

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Looking to add a furry friend to your family? Consider adopting from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which provides shelter to pets in need and finds homes for them.

This week's featured pet is Caspian, a young pitbull that has tons of energy. He will do well with a family that gives him lots of exercise and doesn't have young children. His adoption fees have been covered thanks to a generous donor.

Caspian - American Pit Bull Terrier, Neutered Male, Adult

Caspian is a smart young guy and motivated to do tricks for treats! He has a lot of energy in his little body and is looking for a family that’s always willing to do something awesome with him. With enough exercise and mental stimulation, he will have lots of affection for you. We are recommending no young kid, so children under 12, because he can be over exuberant at times. He walks very well on an Easy Walk or Freedom harness and that would be the best to continue using because when meeting new people he will often jump up with sheer excitement. If you have this to offer him, he will make the very best of canine friend and will be a wonderful addition to your home.
