Adoptable Alexandria Pet: Tyler The Three-Legged Sweetheart

Looking for a furry friend to snuggle with this winter? If you're considering adopting a pet, take a look at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which shelters pets in need.

One of their available pets is Tyler, an energetic young pup. He only has three legs, but he more than makes up for it with personality and play.

Hi, my name is Tyler and three is my favorite number! I’ll tell you why. There are Three Stooges – they make me laugh! There are three members of Hanson – I know all the words to the classic, MMMBop. There are three ingredients in the best sandwich – the BLT. I am dedicated to my three hobbies – Eat, Play, Sleep (emphasis on the play). And I’m a shoe-in for any three-legged race because I only have three legs - though you'd never guess it! When you visit me at the shelter, you might notice I can be vocal at times, but that’s just because I want to say hello! When I get out of my kennel, my favorite thing to do is greet all my friends - in fact, I recently went on a field trip to Old Town Alexandria, and anointed myself the Mayor by greeting every person I saw with a big smile and kisses! I hope you’ll come by soon. I'm waiting for you!
