Meet Forrester, a good boy that gets along well with other dogs and is always eager to go on a walk.

The volunteer group rescues dogs from overcrowded "high-kill" shelters in the southern U.S., primarily in Virginia and North and South Carolina. Operation Paws for Homes then rehabilitates the dogs and places them in loving homes. The group also partners with local humane shelters.

One of their available pets is Forrester, a hound mix that will make a well-behaved companion. The one-year-old dog gets along well with other pets and is house trained. Of course, he'd long to go for regular walks in return for his good behavior.

Meet Forrester! He’s approximately a year old, 52 pounds, and appears to be a hound mix. Forrester is currently fostered with two other dogs and gets along well with them. His foster reports that he is housebroken in their home and is happy to sleep in his crate. He walks well on a leash and has a nice medium level of energy.
