Bryan Porter, Commonwealth’s Attorney, told Patch last week that his office has not ruled out bringing charges against the driver in the case, who police have identified as a woman who was driving a dump truck. Porter said that police and his office must first complete their investigation of the incident. The driver has said she thought she hit an animal, according to a report by NBC-4.

City staff and the Police Department will be in attendance Monday night to answer questions and listen to community concerns regarding pedestrian safety in these neighborhoods. If you are unable to make the meeting the City has created an online form for you to leave your feedback.
