ALDI Holds Hiring Events At Alexandria Stores

ALEXANDRIA, VA — ALDI is hosting hiring events at its Alexandria stores this month.

The German-based grocery store chain is seeking store associates starting at $13 per hour, shift managers $17.75 per hour and manager trainee positions. $25 per hour. Store managers can earn $85,000 to $100,000 per year. Employees working an average 25 hours a week are eligible for full health insurance benefits and dental coverage.

The schedule of hiring events is:

• Tuesday, July 11: 4602 Kenmore Ave. Alexandria, VA 22304 7 a.m. - noon
• Thursday, July 13: 4580 Duke St. Alexandria, VA 22304 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.
• Tuesday, July 25: 4580 Duke St. Alexandria, VA 22304 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Job requirements are:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday - Sunday
• Retail experience preferred
• Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees
• Drug screening and background check
• Ability to lift 45 pounds
