Alexandria at the Polls: Updated Election Results

Patch covers the Senate, House of Delegates and Clerk of the Court elections.

Update 11:58 p.m. -- With all precincts in Alexandria City reporting now, here are the results for the elections Del Ray and Old Town residents voted on today.

Ed Semonian retained his position as Clerk of the Court with almost two-thirds of the votes.

Adam Ebbin's district, which goes into southern Fairfax County, won the 30th district state senate seat. He had more than 65 percent of the votes.

Voters headed to the polls today to choose representation for the 30th state senate district (Democrat Adam Ebbin v. Republican Tim McGhee), the 45th state house district (Del. David Englin is running unopposed) and the Clerk of the Court (incumbent Ed Semonian v. Chris Marston).
