Alexandria City Public Schools Schedules a Snow Make Up Day
Students missed four days of school, due to winter weather. Now they'll go to school on a day that was previously a teacher workday.
This school year, Alexandria City Public Schools students have missed four days of school, due to inclement winter weather.
The academic calendars include three extra school days so that the first three missed days do not have to be made up. The fourth missed day will be made up on the following designated snow make-up days:

- Traditional calendar schools: Friday, April 17 (originally a Teacher Work Day)
