Alexandria Eateries To Join 2022 Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Before Alexandria Restaurant Week begins on Aug. 19 through Aug. 28, foodies can enjoy special menus during Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week from Aug. 15 to 21.

The restaurant week features three-course $25 lunch or brunch menus and $40 or $55 dinner menus. Select restaurants will have restaurant week to-go offerings and wine or cocktail pairings.

Participating restaurants will continue to be added as restaurant week nears. In Alexandria, restaurant week menus will be offered at Bastille Brasserie & Bar, Cheesetique Del Ray, Evening Star Cafe, Laporta's Restaurant, Hen Quarter Alexandria, and The Rub Chicken & Beer. Franconia's Osteria Marzano is also participating.

In Old Town, Bastille Brasserie & Bar will offer the choice of $40 or $55 dinner menus. Diners will choose hors d'oeuvres, salad or soup; entrée; and dessert. Wine pairings will also be offered. The restaurant week menu is for dine-in only, but outdoor seating is available.

Brunch, lunch and dinner menus will be offered at Laporta's Restaurant. Brunch and lunch will cost $25 per person, and diners have the choice of $40 (curbside $70 per couple) or $55 (curbside $100 per couple) dinner menus. Outdoor dining, takeout and cocktail or wine pairing are available.

Hen Quarter will offer a $40 dinner menu but has not yet shared a specific menu. The Rub Chicken & Beer, which is co-located with Hen Quarter, will have to-go offerings.

In Del Ray, Cheesetique Del Ray is offering a $35 per person restaurant week menu that comes with a starter, entree and dessert. Outdoor dining is available at the restaurant.

Head further down Mount Vernon Avenue for Evening Star Cafe, which will offer a $40 dinner menu with takeout and outdoor dining available.

South of Alexandria, Osteria Marzano plans to offer $25 lunch and $40 dinner with outdoor dining, takeout, delivery and cocktail or wine pairing available.

The event is hosted by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, which represents the DC region's restaurants and food service industry. Restaurant week is held twice a year, typically in January and August.
