Alexandria Love Your Pet Day Block Party Returns

The block party kickoff will be hosted by celebrity veterinarian Dr. Katy Nelson of "The Pet Show with Dr. Katy" and elected officials. Afterward, more than 60 local businesses and nonprofits will offer activities for pets, food trucks and other entertainment. Some pet activities include a puppy ball pool, canine fitness, doggie temporary tattoos and color, a ball pit treat find, and meet-and-greet with an Alexandria Police K-9.
For children, there will be balloon animals, face painting, juggling school and a Rainbow Rock Band performance. The food truck lineup includes Borinquen Lunch Box, Rocklands and Smoking Kow BBQ.
