Alexandria Man Sentenced For Sending Child Porn Over Skype
The Alexandria man had hundreds of child pornography images and sent a number over Skype, according to court documents.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—An Alexandria man has been sentenced for ten counts of distributing child pornography. According to court documents, the defendant had hundreds of child pornography images and distributed at least 23 images between December 2015 and March 2016. Jeramy Jon-Earl Scovell, 41, was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
He was arrested in September 2016. Authorities began investigating when Scovell took his computer for repairs and a store employee found a folder with pornographic images of children. Investigators got a warrant and found he had distributed 23 of the images through a Skype messaging system.
The conversations show Scovell saying he dreamed of sexually abusing children. He did pass a polygraph test confirming he did not commit a sexual act against a child.
