Alexandria Pet Of The Week: Cassey Is Coming Out Of Her Shell
Cassey is one of the pets with adoption fees prepaid at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Cassey came to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria as a shy cat, but now she's feeling more sociable after time in her foster home. She's now back in the AWLA Cat Adoptions room and ready to meet her next family.
Cassey is one of the pets available to meet by virtual or in-person adoption appointments at AWLA. A donor has prepaid her adoption fees.

Cassey, 10-Year-Old Female Gray and White Domestic Short-Haired Cat 10-year-old Cassey is back from foster care and making her debut in the AWLA Cat Adoptions Room. She is ready and raring (or meowing) to meet her future family! When Cassey came to the AWLA, she had been feeling especially shy, but according to her #AwesomeFoster caregiver, she is now a sweet and confident cat who loves to hang out with people - even new visitors! As a matter of fact, if she doesn't feel like she's getting enough of your attention (she especially likes belly rubs and ear scratches), she'll headbutt you to remind you she's there! That said, Cassey is also comfortable doing her own thing. She loves to climb and is happy to nap on her perch for hours on end; she's the definition of a cool cat. She's also spent some time meeting new cats in foster care and could be up for a kitty companion. Cassey's adoption fees have already been pre-paid by a generous donor, so if you are interested in meeting Cassey and giving her a new home this pawliday season, please visit AlexandriaAnimals.org/Adopt-By-Appointment for more information.
