ALEXANDRIA, VA — In November, adoption fees are being waived for senior pets 8 years and older at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria for National Adopt a Senior Pet Month.

That means senior pets like Mister Miller may be able to find homes more easily. This 11-year-old cat is a gentle guy, but he's been known to show a grumpy face. That just means fun photo opps for his next family.

This sweet 11-year-old gray gent has been accused of having Resting Grump Face, but he doesn't know what you're talking about. He's just trying to show off his cute little tongue "blep."

Mister Miller is currently staying with one of the AWLA's amazing foster caregivers, who calls him "Respectful, gentle, social and independent," exactly what so many are looking for in a feline friend. Mister Miller has years of best friend experience that he can't wait to bring to his new home. And since November is National Adopt a Senior Pet Month, his friends at the AWLA want to help him find that family even more quickly, which is why, all month long, adoption fees have been waived for all senior pets (8 years and older), like Mister Miller.
