Avis is a two-year-old hound mix who thinks she might just be the perfect pup for you. A happy-go-lucky gal, she greets everyone she meets with enthusiastic tails wags and excellent doggie kisses. With her gorgeous brindle coat, white markings and soulful brown eyes, she knows she's beautiful, but she doesn't let it go to her head. She gets so excited when people come to visit her that she can't stop her tail from wagging!

Avis hasn't had much experience walking on a leash, so she'd love the patient help of a new best friend to help her take on this new experience. As a younger girl, she'd like a lifestyle that can offer her a fair amount of exercise, so if you are an active person, you might be her perfect match. She does well with people of all ages and has experience living with dogs, so she could be a great fit for all kinds of households.
