Alexandria Pet Of The Week: Give Dot A Home This Holiday Season

ALEXANDRIA, VA — During National Adopt a Senior Pet Month, adoption fees are being waived for senior pets during November.

Patch regularly features adoptable pets at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which runs the city's animal shelter. One of the available pets is Dot, a senior who's an expert in cuddling.

10-year-old Dot is a Cuddler Supreme! She's currently recovering from a skin condition that gave her a Case of the Itchies, but her beautiful fur is growing back extra soft, and in the meantime, you get a special peek at her glorious tummy spots.

Dot's a peppy gal who loves her human friends so much! Her favorite activity is to crawl into their laps and let them figure out her favorite petting spots (hint: it's all of them!). She loves a good walk, but it needs to end with cuddles every time.
