ALEXANDRIA, VA — At the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, there are plenty of pets that could use loving homes this winter. Perhaps no one could use a family more than Midnight.

Midnight is a senior cat who has spent her years learning to be the perfect companion. Now she needs a family to take care of her for the rest of her life. She would be happy with a comfortable place to sleep and a companion by her side.

Midnight, 17-year-old Female Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat

At a “vintage” age of 17, Midnight has spent her years perfecting the art of catdom and companionship. She is looking for a family that she can also call her friends. Midnight isn’t asking for a lot. She loves a warm bed, a spot in the sun and the occasional head rub. She’s a fan of sleeping in and taking it easy. She’s as happy in your lap as she is by your side. Midnight is looking for a comfortable hospice home to live out the rest of her days, and she wants to make the most of her life: Good food, a safe home and love. Midnight is going to be the purr-fect best friend for someone just as special as she is. Could it be you? To learn more and to schedule time to meet her, email adopt@alexandriaanimals.org or call 703.746.4774 x2.
