Alexandria Pet Of The Week: Social Kitty Could Be Your Companion
This curious cat from Alexandria's animal shelter loves to explore. Could your home become her new stomping ground?

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The superstition of black cats being unlucky isn't true, at least in the case of friendly kitty Angel.
Angel is one of the adoptable pets from the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, which runs the city's shelter. She not only loves to meet and spend time with people, but she loves to explore the world around her. Perhaps she could find a new place to explore once new adopters bring her home.

Angel, 2-Year-Old-Old Female Black Domestic Short-Haired Cat
Are you looking for a new best friend who's as playful as she is sociable and as friendly as she is curious? Then Angel might be your gal!
This diminutive 2-year-old house panther is the first to greet visitors to the AWLA Cat Adoption Room, and it is a warm greeting indeed. She loves reaching her paws out of the kennel to say hi and make sure you know she's there.
She loves to snuggle and play with her favorite people, but she also knows how to entertain herself all on her own. Give Angel a few toys and she's one happy kitty. She also loves to explore the world around her and thinks that her new home is the opportunity for another new adventure.
If you think you're the one to give this panther a house of her own, schedule an appointment to meet Angel at AlexandriaAnimals.org/Adopt-By-Appointment.
