Alexandria Pets Of The Week: Best Friends Moana and Alaska
These guinea pig friends would like to expand their circle with human friends in a new home.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — If a small pet is a good fit for your home, consider looking at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria. Aside from cats and dogs, there are normally other kinds of pets to bring home.
Two of these pets are Moana and Alaska, guinea pig buddies who would like to make new human friends. These 3-year-old friends have been together most of their lives. Guinea pigs do well in groups, so families can adopt them together.

What's the best way to describe best buds Alaska and Moana?
Peas in a pod!
Birds of a feather!
Two of a kind!
However you phrase it, Moana and Alaska are the best of friends, and they can't wait to meet their future family - together! At 3 years old, Alaska and Moana have spent most of their lives together, but they're not exclusive. They welcome the addition of new friends, from snuggling with humans to making new guinea pig buddies, like they did with their foster sister Wally (pictured).
Alaska and Moana are sleek, silly and social, and they are on the prowl for a new home. Could it be with you? Schedule time to meet them in their foster home by emailing Adopt@AlexandriaAnimals.org or calling 7030746.4774 (opt. 2).
