Alexandria's Own Haunted Attraction To Open For 2 Days

This spooky attraction is free but accepts donations for community groups.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—In the days leading up to Halloween, Alexandria residents need not leave town for some thrills and chills. Spook Walk is a haunted attraction being held for two days in Del Ray: Saturday, Oct. 27, and Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

The theme for the attraction is "The Crematorium." Visitors will walk through a crematorium and pet cemetery. The event page describes it as "grotesque and terrifying at every turn – we promise you a good scare!" If you bring young children, they'll tone down the scares.

The attraction is free, but a $5 donation is suggested. Donations benefit Finding Knox, Project Mickey and Jasmine's House, which focus on humane treatment of animals through education and outreach. The attraction is run in coordination with the three groups.
