Arlington Ridge Road Ramp Closures This Weekend
Milling and paving of ramps linking South Arlington Ridge to I-395, Route 27.

From 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, and from 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, the ramp from Route 27 to South Arlington Ridge Road and the ramp from South Arlington Ridge to Route 27 and northbound I-395 will be closed for milling and paving, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and take alternate routes to minimize impacts.
Route 27 to South Arlington Ridge ramp traffic will be detoured via southbound I-395 and South Glebe Road to South Arlington Ridge (see map). South Arlington Ridge to Route 27 ramp traffic will be detoured via South Lynn Street, Army Navy Drive, South Joyce Street and Columbia Pike to Route 27 (see map).

South Arlington Ridge to northbound I-395 ramp traffic will be detoured via South Lynn Street, Army Navy Drive, South Joyce Street, South 15th Street and Route 1 to northbound I-395 (see map). Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists.
Electronic message signs are in place to notify drivers of the scheduled work.

The work is part of the $2.2 million project to repair the South Arlington Ridge Road ramp bridges over I-395 and Army Navy Drive. The project is scheduled for completion in December.
