Businesses Offer Deals To Mark Metro Shutdown End In Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The six Blue and Yellow line stations in and around Alexandria reopened Monday, Sept. 9 after the summer-long shutdown. Local businesses are offering deals to celebrate for one week.

Deals at restaurants, shops and other attractions include a free Key to the City museum, free tours, store discounts, restaurant specials and more. Customers can show their SmarTrip card to receive the discounts. Deals are valid from Sept. 9 to 15 unless otherwise noted.
