Christmas Already? Santa Train Tickets Selling Out Fast

ALEXANDRIA, VA—If you're of the belief that Christmas overshadows other holidays, you're not wrong. Halloween has yet to come, and tickets for the popular Santa Train from Alexandria are already selling out.

The 13th annual train ride held by Whistle Stop Toy & Hobby is a popular tradition, featuring a ride from Alexandria's King Street Station to Manassas and back.

Upon arrival in Manassas, visitors will leave the train for about a half hour. During that time they can keep warm with some hot chocolate and cookies. Hooray for Books will have a story time in the station and Santa will hold a Q&A session on the station platform.

Here are the dates and the times already sold out, as of Thursday:

• Monday, Dec. 4th
• Monday, Dec. 11th (close to selling out)
• Friday, Dec. 15th: SOLD OUT
• Monday, Dec. 18th: SOLD OUT

Train departs promptly from King Street station in Alexandria, VA at 1:25 p.m. and includes round trip travel to Old Town Manassas, returning at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $29.50 per person and must be purchased in person at the store (1719 Centre Plaza, Fairlington Shopping Centre, Alexandria). Patch cannot guarantee ticket availability.
