Cuddly Alexandria Rescue Dog Can Be Your Valentine

Still need a Valentine? Look no further than this black lab rescue that loves to cuddle.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—There's hardly a better time than Valentine's Day to fall in love with a new puppy. Alexandria-based Operation Paws for Homes has a wide selection of rescue dogs looking for loving homes. These dogs were rescued from overcrowded, high-kill shelters in the south, mainly Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina and could use some love on Valentine's Day.

Glynda, a sweet labrador retriever, is one of these dogs. Whether you're down for a road trip or low-key movie night, she makes the perfect companion.

Here's a description of Glynda from Operation Paws for Homes:

Are you looking for a sweetie? A cuddler? A lovebug? That would be me!
I am 3-years-old, 65 lbs, and they say a Labrador mix!
I have gotten along with most dogs I’ve met. I'm potty-trained and I enjoy car rides!
If you think my cute-self is the right dog for you, complete the application soon! I won’t be waiting long!
Oh, yeah - I'm spayed and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives - woo hoo!
