WASHINGTON, DC — If you blinked and Memorial Day weekend suddenly became Fourth of July weekend, you're not alone.
The Fourth of July weekend brings numerous Fourth of July fireworks and other events to the Northern Virginia and DC region. A few of the events include Fireworks on the National Mall, Workhouse Fireworks, A Capitol Fourth, Independence Day Parade, Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks and much more.
Other notable weekend events planned in Northern Virginia and DC include the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, Washington Nationals vs. Miami Marlins, Black Girls Rock Film Fest and several bar crawls.
