As we head into the last weekend of September (already?), the weather should shape up so Northern Virginia and DC residents can enjoy the numerous events going on.

The first weekend of fall will offer lots of events and fun around Northern Virginia and DC. From fall festivals to cultural events and a dog race, there's something for you.

We've rounded up numerous events going on in your communities from Friday, Sept. 28 to Sunday, Sept. 30. Some are free. Some have a fee.
