Del Ray Business Owner Searching For Missing Dog

The Bellies & Babies owners are asking residents to "help us find our beloved Bud."

ALEXANDRIA, VA—A local family-run business in Del Ray is seeking help locating their lost dog.

Bellies & Babies Consignment Boutique owners Dawn and Tim Luepke said via Facebook the family dog Bud ran off on Sunday, Nov. 11. The family adopted the dog, a rescue Shih Tzu/poodle mix, in April.

Bud was last seen behind their home on Walnut Street behind Yates Automotive. He has tags with the family's phone numbers and is micro-chipped.

Bellies & Babies asked for community help in a Facebook post: "Please do keep a look out for him, repost this & if you use a dog walker, will you please share with your dog walkers as maybe they can can keep an eye out too."
