Del Ray Candy Cane Bar Crawl 2021 To Benefit Neighborhood Health

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The sixth annual Del Ray Candy Cane Bar Crawl is back this weekend for holiday fun and a fundraiser to support Neighborhood Health.

The Candy Cane Bar Crawl will be held Saturday, Dec. 11 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Attendees can score specials on holiday cocktails, beers, and food at the 15 participating Del Ray restaurants. The ticket also includes trolley transportation, raffles, and a costume contest for best dressed individual and group.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Sales support Neighborhood Health, which provides primary care services regardless of the ability to pay in Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax County. The first 250 to register will receive a swag bag with a 16 oz event souvenir cup.

Participating restaurants include Barkhaus, Bella Napoli, Cheesetique, Del Ray Pizzeria, Evening Star Cafe, The Garden, Hops N Shine, Kaizen Tavern, Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap, Los Tios Grill, Market2Market, Northside 10, Piece Out Del Ray, Pork Barrel BBQ, St. Elmo's Coffee Pub, Stomping Ground and Spice Kraft. Volunteer positions are also still available for the event. Sign up to volunteer and receive free passes to the event and T-shirts as supplies last. Volunteer information pickup will happen Friday, Dec. 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. or the day of the event at Pork Barrel BBQ.

Check in for attendees will begin at 12:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap (401 E. Braddock Road) or Northside 10 (10 E. Glebe Road). After 3 p.m., check in will only happen at Pork Barrel BBQ (2312 Mount Vernon Avenue).
