The Halloween Parade was postponed due to the weather, but the fun will continue on Sunday.

DEL RAY, VA — The 21st Annual Del Ray Halloween Parade, which was supposed to take place Sunday, Oct. 29, has been postponed until next Sunday, Nov. 5. Weather was the culprit in delaying the festive parade.
The parade will take place at 2 p.m. along Mount Vernon Avenue, from E. Bellefont Ave. to the Mt. Vernon Recreation Center fields, according to a press release from the Del Ray Business Association. The event is free and open to all.
At the recreation center will be live music, goodie bags for the kids, children's games and free refreshments. There will also be awards given out for the best decorated stroller, house, business and pet costume.
