Del Ray Restaurants Open Christmas Day Or Christmas Eve 2022

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Not everyone in Del Ray wants to spend hours preparing a Christmas feast, some families are on the road and others with holiday vacations coming up are looking for restaurants open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Most restaurants are closed on Christmas Day, but plenty also stay open for business to serve those who don’t celebrate the holiday or who would rather focus on their family and friends rather than cooking an elaborate, multi-course meal.

  • Del Ray Cafe: Enjoy a three-course Christmas Eve menu for $85 per person.
  • Junction Bakery & Bistro: Open 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Holiday pre-orders are available and must be picked up by 12 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
  • Lena’s Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap: Open 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Christmas Eve and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Day. See dine-in and takeout specials on the restaurant's website.
  • Spice Kraft Indian Bistro: Enjoy a vegetarian or non-vegetarian holiday special for pick-up, dine-in or delivery from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Pre-orders must be placed.
  • Matt & Tony's: A Christmas Eve dinner for two package is available to preorder.
  • RT's Restaurant: Open for Christmas Eve dining.
  • Cheesetique: Holiday specials are available to order. The restaurant is open on Christmas Eve.
  • Evening Star Cafe: Open for Christmas Eve dining.
  • Neighborhood Provisions: Order holiday items for pickup or delivery Dec. 22 and 23.
  • Holy Cow Del Ray: Open on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.
  • Pork Barrel BBQ: Open until 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.

Other chain and franchise restaurants, ranging from fast-food to fine dining, and coffee shops are open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, unless otherwise noted. Some restaurants prepare multicourse meals for pickup; others have dine-in options; and others offer food and coffee on the go.

Make sure you call ahead for a reservation and to confirm hours at Alexandria locations. Some restaurants may offer limited hours.
