Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. People in line before 7 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Absentee Voting
Absentee voting started July 8 and continues through Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. Mailed or faxed ballots must have been received by August 16 at 5 p.m., but you may drop off your absentee ballot in person at the Office of Voter Registration by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23.

Who’s in the Primaries
30th district, Virginia State Senate: Three well-known and well-funded Democrats are vying for Delegate Patricia Ticer’s seat in the 30th district—Adam Ebbin, Rob Krupicka and Libby Garvey. Sen. Ticer is retiring after more than 15 years serving residents at the state level.
is an eight-year member of the Virginia House of Delegates.
is currently a member of the Arlington County school board.
is a current Alexandria City Council member. He also serves on the Virginia State Board of Education.
