Fire Temporarily Closes Business At Alexandria Shopping Center
Firefighters put out a blaze in a bathroom at the Bradlee Shopping Center Thursday morning.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—The Alexandria Fire Department responded to a fire at the Bradlee Shopping Center Thursday morning.
Units responded to the 3600 Block of King Street, according to an 8:56 a.m. tweet from the IAFF Local 2141 firefighters' union. Crews found and put out a fire in a bathroom. No injuries were reported.
A photo showed appeared to show firefighters responding to the Duck Donuts location. The business said in a Facebook post it is temporarily closed. The business reopened for regular hours on Friday, March 8.

There was no immediate word on what caused the fire or damage estimates.
