Four Mile Run Market Looking for Vendors
Farmers market managers specifically looking for a produce vendor.

The is seeking new vendors, specifically a second produce vendor, for its Sunday market.
The market recently lost the services of a produce vendor and managers would like to bring in a second one to complement the offerings from C and T Produce.
“The current vendor is from the Fredericksburg area and it would ideally be good to have some balance and have one from the north,” said Kevin Beekman, a market manager at Four Mile.

Beekman said he reached out to a produce vendor at the , which is held on Saturdays at the corner of Mt. Vernon and E. Del Ray avenues, but was told the farm couldn’t “scale up” to meet the demand of two markets per weekend.
The not-for-profit Four Mile Run market is open Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October. It is held in just off Mt. Vernon Avenue in Arlandria. It was the first market in Alexandria or Arlington County to employ the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-EBT “food stamp” program, which market managers can process for vendors on qualified products.
