Halloween Night Robbery Reported On Mount Vernon Avenue
The robber apparently stole a belt and nothing else, police say.
Alexandria Police responded to a robbery in the Del Ray area Halloween night.
The robbery happened in the 3100 block of Mount Vernon Avenue, according to a police notification sent Wednesday before midnight. The suspect reportedly took a belt from the teenage victim. Nothing else was taken, and the victim was not injured.
No suspect description was available. Police continue to investigate.
