Halloween Parade, Ghost Town, Boo At The Zoo: DC, NoVA Weekend Events
This weekend's calendar is packed with trunk-or-treat events and the last weekends of many Halloween haunts and fall festivals.
WASHINGTON, DC — As the last weekend of October nears, it's the last weekend to check out certain fall and Halloween activities around Northern Virginia and DC.
If you're into the thrills and chills, it's the last weekend for most haunted houses like Scream LoCo in Leesburg, Madhunter's Madhouse in Purcellville, The Death Trail in Dumfries, Ghost Walks: Return to the Shadows in Dumfries and Frights At Height in Springfield. On the other hand, the Clifton Haunted Trail and Old Firehouse Center Festival of Frights and Trunk or Treat will run for one night only.
Many family-friendly events will also wrap up in October, like the Burke Nursery's Pumpkin Playground in Burke, Fall Pumpkin Harvest Festival in Bluemont, Pumpkin Village in Leesburg and Fall Fest at Reston Farm Garden Market.

Other family-friendly events this weekend include the Del Ray Halloween Parade in Alexandria, Boo at the Zoo in DC, Ghost Town at Burke Lake Park, Leesburg Premium Outlets Trick-or-Treating Event, Purcellville Halloween Block Party, Halloween Carnival in Falls Church, Old Town Family Trick or Treat in Alexandria, Trick or Treating at Mount Vernon and Halloween On The Farm in Herndon, Mosaic Halloween Spooktacular, and various trunk or treat events.
