Hearing Thursday on Potomac Yard Metro Station

Metro will host a public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement and plans for the proposed Potomac Yard Metrorail Station on Thursday, April 30 at Cora Kelly Recreation Center. The public hearing will be preceded by an Open House period that will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the formal Public Hearing will begin at 7 p.m.

The hearing represents “another positive step toward providing transportation infrastructure investment within Potomac Yard,” the City points out.

Shuttle buses to the Cora Kelly Recreation Center will depart every 30 minutes from the King Street Metrorail Station starting at 4:45 p.m. and the Braddock Road Metrorail Station starting at 5 p.m.The return shuttle bus will depart the recreation center at the conclusion of the hearing.
