Heart Of Del Ray Nominees Announced For 2022
Five finalists are up for the Heart of Del Ray award, given to the business that represents the "heart and soul of Del Ray."
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Five finalists have been named for the 2022 Heart of Del Ray award, an initiative to recognize businesses that are the "heart and soul" of the Del Ray neighborhood.
The finalists were decided by the Del Ray Business Association after residents were asked to nominate businesses. The five finalists are Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap, St. Elmo's Coffee Pub, Stomping Ground, The Dog Store/Your Dog's Best Friends, and Windmill Hill Design Build.
Residents can vote for their favorite business until noon on Feb. 10. The winning business will receive a heart-shaped award on Feb. 11 to display in time for Valentine's Day. Businesses can only win the award once.
