Heart Of Del Ray Nominees Sought For 2023 Business Award
Nominations are being taken for the Heart of Del Ray award, presented each year to a business representing the heart and soul of Del Ray.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Another business will be recognized in 2023 with the Heart of Del Ray award, an annual award going to a business representing the heart and soul of the neighborhood. Nominations are being accepted by the community.
The award is given annually by the Del Ray Business Association. The business association seeks nominations of businesses that show a "warm and welcoming attitude," "commitment and generosity to the community" and "overall contribution to what makes Del Ray the best place in the world to eat, live, work and shop."
Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Jan. 27. Five finalists will be announced on Jan. 30, with public voting happening from Jan. 30 to Feb. 8. The winner will be presented with a giant heart award on Feb. 10.

A business can only win the award once, so nominations should not include past winners.
