HomeGoods Opens In Alexandria This Week
The Alexandria store marks the 18th the home decor retailer opened in the DC area.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Shoppers at Potomac Yard will have another option for the holiday season when HomeGoods opens Thursday, Nov. 16. It is the only location in the City of Alexandria and the 18th in the DC area.
The 21,896 square-foot store will open - 8 a.m.-8 p.m. for the grand opening. Regular store hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-8 p.m. The new store adds 65 full and part-time positions to Alexandria.
Homegoods, operated by the same company as T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, offers brand name home decor at value prices. Products include furniture, rugs, lighting, storage, decorative accessories, bedding, bath, kid’s décor, toys and more.

Before the opening, the closest HomeGoods locations were in Kingstowne, the Richmond Highway corridor and Bailey's Crossroads. HomeGoods has 570 stores across the U.S.
The address for the new Alexandria store is 3701 Jefferson Davis Highway.
