Key Dates Left In The 2019-2020 Alexandria School Calendar

If you consider the winter break as a mid point of the school year, you might be thinking about the important dates coming up in 2020. Alexandria City Public Schools students will head back to classes on Monday, Jan. 6 after the winter break.

We've rounded up a list of important dates left in the 2019-2020 school year. That includes spring vacations, holidays, parent-teacher conferences and graduation.

• Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School early release for parent-teacher conferences: Jan. 16-17
• No school for Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan. 20
• No school for teacher work day: Jan. 31
• T.C. Williams early release for parent-teacher conferences: Feb. 6-7
• Elementary school early release for parent-teacher conferences: Feb. 13-14
• No school for Presidents' Day: Feb. 17
• Middle school early release for parent-teacher conferences: Feb. 20-21
• No school for professional development day: March 3
• No school for professional development day: March 20
• Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School intersession: March 23-April 3
• No school for spring break: April 6-10
• No school for teacher work day: April 13
• No school for Memorial Day: May 25
• T.C. Williams graduation: June 13
• T.C. Williams early release for testing: June 16-17
• Early release for all students: June 18-19
