The Marquis de Lafayette was a guest in this Old Town Alexandria home in 1824, and you can own it for $5.4 million. The spacious 1815 home has maintained much of its 19th century charm with its 11 fireplaces with period mantels, a front door arch and grand entrance hall.

An Old Town Alexandria home has been named a finalist in one category of HGTV's Ultimate House Hunt 2017. The townhouse, located at 119 Princess Street, is one of eight finalists in the "Living Large in Small Spaces" category. It was sold last year by The Goodhart Group.

In the wake of Michael Flynn's guilty plea in the Russia investigation, President Trump's former national security advisor is looking to sell his Old Town Alexandria home. Flynn purchased the three-bedroom townhouse in November 2015, and a source close to Flynn told ABC News he was looking to sell it, citing concerns over "crippling legal costs" from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.

This Old Town Alexandria home not only boasts sought-after amenities, but it carries a bit of history.
Built in 1820, the home has been renovated with impressive modern features and details. Perhaps its crowning feature is the outdoors, with a walled garden and heated pool.
