Watch a video below of the recent news conference about the effort.

It’s hot outside and the kids want to go to the pool. That’s where “Splash with DASH” comes in.
The Alexandria Transit Company (DASH), in partnership with Advocates for Alexandria Aquatics, the City of Alexandria, and more than 20 local businesses, have announced “Splash with DASH,” an initiative to get families and children to the Old Town Pool this summer.
From July 1 through Sept. 7, the AT 10 route will become the free Pool Bus on weekdays between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm, and on weekends between 11am and 7pm. Details: www.dashbus.com/85673
