New Body Waxing Studio in Del Ray To Celebrate Grand Opening

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A new body waxing studio has opened its doors in Del Ray, and it's inviting everyone to celebrate its grand opening next month.

Waxing the City Alexandria, at 2727 Mount Vernon Ave., bills itself as "an exclusive waxing salon that's dedicated solely to the art of better body waxing." It offers women and men an array of grooming and hair-removal services, including bikini, Brazilian, eyebrows, lips, legs, back, "and just about any body part in need," according to the salon's Facebook page.

On Saturday, April 8, Waxing the City Alexandria will host a grand opening celebration with city leaders in attendance, and with wine and snacks provided by three Del Ray restaurants: Cheesetique, Los Tios Grill and Pork Barrel BBQ.

The studio also announced that it will raffle off free services and other prizes, and offer an exclusive discount to all who attend.
