Attention bagel lovers: Bagel Uprising in on the way to getting a new home.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—The closing of SnackBar last Labor Day left Bagel Uprising scrambling for a new location. Don't fret Bagel Uprising fans, because the local favorite has found a permanent home. Bagel Uprising has proposed a storefront at 2307A Mount Vernon Avenue, according to an application sent to the city.

The location became available after Happy Tart suddenly closed. Bagel Uprising is pursuing the location in partnership with Nicole Jones of Stomping Ground.

The store would provide counter service and to-go items, according to the application. Food offerings would include six types of bagels with cream cheese, smoked fishes, cured salmon and other toppings. Local drip coffee would be available for purchase.
