ACT for Alexandria (ACT), the local community foundation, is thankful for so many things…for the dedicated nonprofits in Alexandria that help those in need, for the generosity of the Alexandria community, and for local businesses that actively seek to do good. Now, ACT would like to hear about what you are thankful for and give you a little gift in return.
ACT for Alexandria and its online civic engagement initiative, ACTion Alexandria, are asking Alexandria residents to submit photos of people, items, or places from Alexandria that they are thankful for. Photos may be submitted on the ACTion Alexandria website (actionalexandria.org), and the randomly chosen winner will receive a $50 gift card to Whole Foods. The photo contest is way to unite our community around all of the amazing services, people, and organizations that make Alexandria a great place to live and work.
