ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The ninth annual Taste of Del Ray saw its most successful year to date, as it sold out in the presale for the first time ever.

Hosted by the Del Ray Business Association, the event featured a record 18 restaurants on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pat Miller Neighborhood Square. Attendees sampled unlimited tastings from new restaurants and Del Ray favorites. The event also raised $1,000 for the Alexandria Boys and Girls Club, which provides afterschool programs to kids that would be otherwise home alone or on the streets.
