Police: Go-Cart Driver Injured in Crash
Teenager taken to hospital following accident on neighborhood street.
A 17-year-old has been hospitalized after suffering serious injuries in a crash Tuesday night while driving a homemade go-cart, according to the Alexandria Police Department.
The accident occurred in the 3400 block of Saylor Place, in a neighborhood north of Duke Street and west of Quaker Lane, the police said on their Facebook page.
The police did not release the accident victim's name or other details of the accident.
