
The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the robbery of a SunTrust Bank located in the 4600 block of Kenmore Avenue in Alexandria. Around 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, a man entered the bank and displayed a handgun. He demanded money, the teller complied and the suspect fled. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s, approximately 5’11”, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing sunglasses, an oversized orange or burgundy winter coat, black jeans and a black knit hat. He displayed a black handgun during the robbery.
