Possible Road Closures Tuesday in Arlington Due to Concert for Valor Event
Road closures may be necessary Tuesday night due to large crowds, police say.

The Arlington County Police Department may be closing several streets near the Rosslyn and Pentagon City Metro stations on Tuesday, Nov. 11, for the Concert for Valor event being held in Washington, DC. The concert begins at 7 pm and is set to conclude at 10 pm.
The following road closures may be necessary from 9 pm on Tuesday until 1 am on Wednesday and will only take place in the event of a large pedestrian presence exiting from Washington, DC:
- Rosslyn:
- 19th Street N. @ N. Lynn Street
- 19th Street N. @ Ft. Myer Drive
- N. Moore Street @ Lee Highway
- Wilson Boulevard @ Ft. Myer Drive
- Wilson Boulevard @ N. Lynn Street
- Ft. Myer Drive @ 17th Street N. and Fairfax Drive
- Pentagon City:
- Army Navy Drive @ S. Eads Street
- Army Navy Drive @ S. Joyce Street
- 1200 S. Hayes Street @ Entrance to the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Mall
- 15th Street S. @ S. Hayes Street
- 12th Street S. @ S. Fern Street
- I-66 East @ Teddy Roosevelt Bridge
- All traffic would be diverted on to Route 110 south-bound
- Route 50 (Arlington Boulevard) east-bound @ exit to the Teddy Roosevelt Bridge
- All traffic would be diverted on to the George Washington Memorial Parkway south-bound
If roads are closed, it is anticipated that they would be reopened by 1 am on Wednesday, according to police.
