Power Nectar Yoga Studio Opens In Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Power Nectar Yoga will hold its grand opening at 2708 Richmond Highway in Alexandria on Friday, June 28.

A locally and woman-owned business, Power Nectar Yoga offers classes emphasizing the vinyasa flow and traditional hatha yoga styles. The studio joins a sister location called Blue Nectar Yoga in Falls Church, which opened in 2014.

Classes are offered on beginner and mixed levels. Beginner classes include an introduction to vinyasa flow yoga, yin yoga focusing on longer-held postures, and a combination of the yin and yang styles of yoga. The mixed-level classes range from the strength and cardio-focused hot yoga sculpt to the hot sattva vinyasa that works on breath and movement with a focus on alignment. There are also special classes and events for first responders and military.

The grand opening and ribbon cutting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. will feature vendors, door prizes, membership giveaways, swag bags, tours and more.
